Yep, it was about a week after he killed them, when Plagueis sought him out again.
Yes, I sort of remember, now. Funny, how he brought that up at Plagueis' death, almost - *almost* - like he regretted it, in some tiny part of him deeply buried.
I also noticed that. It's kind of interesting, because when he killed them, it wasn't really premeditated, more a crime of passion.
I still like your take on it best.
